Vandersteen Model 5

You only live once! Here's an amazing gift for yourself or someone special who appreciates fine audio listening! If you are looking at this posting you probably know about these speakers. If not, then see below links to learn more. Please note that we believe these are Model 5 not Model 5A or Model 5 Carbon. They were recently professionally finished in automotive "Piano" Black high gloss paint. They are almost flawless. The speaker covers have their own boxes and have only been on the speakers once for the attached photos. This pair of speakers are HEAVY @ about 200 lbs each because of the design and build including an independent 400 watt amplifier powering a massive internal subwoofer. Local pick up would be best. We can cooperate with packing and shipping but that would be an additional charge due to the replacement boxes and shipping to us for two are about $500! Local pick up is preferred. "Model 5" is no longer being made. The manufacturer is producing their Model 7 series at $40,000.00! The original boxes can be sourced. We do not currently have them. Well, how about the glossy mirror finish? Can you imagine these next to a baby grand piano? Must be what Darth Vader listens too! The speaker covers may appear gray in some photos but they are dark black with a soft, smooth and stretchy OEM material just rebuilt by the manufacturer. Sorry, the vintage 'Turbo' is not part of the deal.
