Pair Thiel CS2 three-way speakers. Working perfectly. The walnut finish is in superb condition with no scratches, dents, or dings anywhere. Corners are sharp. I had the finish professionally reconditioned by a woodworker friend of mine. The finish now looks almost like new. Grill cloths have no tears, either.

Please note that Thiel advised playing the speakers with the grill cloths in place. In fact, these early models had thick, double-stick tape holding the grill cloths in place. That is why there are tape marks on the black finish of the front baffle when the grill cloths are removed (see photo). That is normal, and unseen, when the speakers are in use with the grills in place.

The speakers weigh 62 pounds each. I do not have the shipping boxes. Local pickup, or I will meet you somewhere if not too far or out of my way.

Given the excellent condition, I feel that my asking price is fair, and so it is firm. Payment must be in cash on pickup, unless you want to add 3% and use Pay Pal.

Questions for the seller
Hi, I am really interested in these speakers and had 2 questions - How old are these and are you the original owner? Second, I am live in the vicinity and would be interested in listening to them before picking them up. Is that possible? Thanks Sandeep
Hi Sandeep, I am the second owner and do not know when the first owner purchased them. My main system uses a tube amp that produces only 10 watts per channel, so I cannot demo them with that amp. I could hook them up to a vintage Altec receiver that produces 35 watts per channel. It would be enough, but would not make them sound their best. It would be sufficient to prove that they are working properly, though. Please [filtered] me at two zero three, 7 seven seven, 2 seven one eight to set up a time to come by. Regards, Steve
