Speakers are in excellent condition. I have the original crates and accessories. I have been driving these speakers with a McIntosh MC500, 500 Watt per channel, Class AB, Solid State Stereo Amplifier. It's the only amplifier I have ever used with this pair of speakers. This Amplifier/Speaker combination produces Window Rattling SPL's along with Thunderous, Authoritative Bass. Sweet detailed Highs along with smooth revealing Mids. The KAS is a Speaker that is completely in control and comfortable operating at a sustained SPL of 115db-120db, but yet is capable of finesse and detail at 60db-70db. The KAS sounds great with all kinds of music, from AC/DC to Yo-Yo-Ma. Each speaker has built in casters, so they can be rolled around on flat surfaces relatively easily. At the base of each speaker, on the corner is a knob that allows one to level the speaker, left and right, back and forth. Once the speaker is leveled the spikes at the end of the knob allow the speaker to couple with the floor beneath it. I do have cups that can be placed under the spikes if leveling the speakers on Hardwood flooring or other delicate surfaces. They will be included and shipped with the speakers. A speaker set-up manual is also included. I've provided dimension and weight details the Buyer should need to figure shipping cost with the freight carrier of their choice. AudioGon forces me to choose a shipping carrier, obviously UPS is not an option. The Buyer will have to arrange for a Freight Carrier. Again the buyer will have to make arrangements and pay for the freight carrier of their choice. NOT ASKING FOR PAYPAL FEES LIKE SO MANY OTHER SELLERS. WHY SHOULD YOU PAY A FEE FOR PAYING ME. Other delivery options are possibly negotiable, you'll have to ask. The speakers do not have any dings, dents or scratches. I would rate them 9-10, excellent condition. The finish of the speakers are in Rosewood, real wood laminate. The speakers have never been exposed to the direct sun, so there is no fading of the wood finish. The reason for selling is simply wanting to down size to a smaller floor standing speaker, do to re-decorating living room. I have really enjoyed these speakers, you will too!
