It's time to raise cash for my next setup. So up for sale are my 10 month old speakers from Omega Speaker Systems. This includes the pair of Outlaw 1.5 Open Back speakers in beautiful custom Cherry and the matching 8" sub in the same amazing Cherry in "as new" condition. No scuffs, scratches or marks of any kind. There is so much to say about these speakers,  One word is "detail". Another is "imaging". The two together are nothing short of breathtaking. These speakers leave the uninitiated to simply sit and smile while taking in the music.

If you're remotely interested in the open baffle experience, these provide the best of both worlds as the top driver is open and the bottom, enclosed in its own ported enclosure. BTW all the pics in this ad are of the actual speakers you'll be getting, these are NOT stock images.

The RS 5 drivers in these take no less than 300 hours to break in, and yes, I've done all that for you. The speakers have somewhere around 500 hours on them, so they're ready for anything you wanna throw at them.

The Outlaw 1.5 OB's are 98db sensitive. I've been driving them with a 10wpc tube amp and tube dac, and they sound very nice. They're 20" x 12" x 15" and weigh 35 lb. each. The sub is 14" x 11" x 11", 40 lb. and comes with really, really pointy spikes. If I recall shipping these three items in the CONUS will run a little over $100.

I had a real blast with these speakers as they were my first foray into open baffle dipole speakers. They're so sensitive to even the slightest change in your setup, so I tried tons of different cables and interconnects. Positioning also makes a big difference as well. I'd be willing to bet you have NEVER heard a pair of speakers that images like these, and with more detail than you've ever heard. You WILL hear things you've never heard in your most familiar recordings, I guarantee it.

So if they're so great, why am I getting rid of them? If you check out my perfect feedback, you'll see I buy and sell setups every 5-12 months. I've had Harbeths, Audio Notes, Von Schweikert, even the Totem Signature One (I think that's what their premium monitors are called). These are all very, very high quality, terrific sounding speakers, and I sold them too. Because that's what I do with this hobby. Jump into new systems and setups, then move on to something new again.
