I have a pair of Meridian M100 active speakers (and the Meridian 207 Compact Disc transport and pre-amp listed separately) that I bought new in 1987. All have been sitting unused for the last 15 years in indoor, conditioned space.
Highs: Meridian's original flagship speaker. Powerful, crystal-clear sound. Great soundstage. Speakers and grilles are in excellent condition; cabinets are in very good condition.
Lows: Some symptoms of age and disuse (not misuse). The input jack is loose on both speakers. Small cosmetic issues like fairly dry veneer and some scratches, mainly near the floor. Dusty.
