Selling an outstanding and beautiful pair of Genesis 350SE (special edition) speakers. Close to mint condition. If you are looking at these, you probably know all about them. These are a statement speaker system. They are a legend and people’s jaws hit the floor when they come over for demos. Have original crates for speakers and original box for the amp. Prefer pickup in Tampa, Florida although they can be shipped by freight at buyer's request and expense. Freight shipment must be arranged by buyer at buyer's sole expense. The Genesis 350SE Limited Edition was Arnie Nudell’s crowning achievement before he left the Company. It was his swan song and was created for those discriminating music lovers who accept no compromises, except having a limited listening space. This state of the art speaker system is designed to reproduce music at live listening levels with no restrictions on dynamic range, frequency response or imaging capabilities within the confined environment of metropolitan living. Indeed it is a more practical speaker to own than the separate column model 201 (or now called the 2.2) with the separate woofer towers and absolutely no sacrifice in bass response or coherence. They are just as awesome sounding as the 201 but occupies left floor space and weight. Far better than the 5.3 and other in the series. Today the speaker is now called the Genesis G2Jr under different ownership and with an equivalent price tag of $85,000.00 (!) but is only available in Black color and not the gorgeous Rosewood that this one is. The system is completely line source, with a total of eight servo-controlled metal woofers, eight feet of midrange ribbon and thirty tweeters, the 350SE is an impressive sight! Reviewers in the Audiophile press have remarked that the Genesis circular ribbon tweeter is the world’s best. The system has a total of 30 for an incredible radiating structure and frequency response all beyond 40K. The midrange is exemplary with superb radiation integrity. And the woofer system is truly incredible, tight and deep with extension to 16HZ. The system comes with a 1600 watt Servo controlled amplifier with remote control and special cables. All you need is to add a good amplifier for the top. Whether with tubes or solid state this system will truly raise goose bumps.
