Focal SM-9 Powered Studio Monitors (L/R pair) with Iso Acoustics ISO-L8R200 isolating speaker stands (1 pair per speaker)

This classified is a for a pair of Focal SM-9 studio monitors, with two pairs of Iso Acoustics ISO -L8R200 isolating speaker stands (one pair per speaker).

The SM-9 stands atop Focal’s Professional Range, and incorporates all of the company’s leading-edge technologies. Each monitor consists of a 1" pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter, driven by a 100 watt Class AB amplifier, a 6-1/2" "W" composite sandwich midrange, driven by a 100 watt Class AB amplifer, and an 8" "W" composite sandwich woofer with an 11" "W" composite sandwich passive radiator, driven by a 400 watt Class AB amplifier. There is a full suite of EQ & shelving controls on the back of the speaker, which can be bypassed in "Direct" mode. The most unique feature of the SM-9 is the ability to change from a 3-way full range monitor (40Hz - 20kHz, +/- 1dB) to a 2-way monitor in "Focus" mode, which uses the midrange driver and tweeter only; i.e., the woofer & passive radiator are bypassed (90Hz - 20kHz, +/- 3dB). There is an XLR input and the speaker’s sensitivity can be adjusted to either +4dBu or -10 dBV. Each speaker is about 13" x 20" x 16", and weighs 77 lbs. I bought these speakers about 18 ago months from Sweetwater, where they were demo units. I am the only owner. At the request of my family, I’ve moved to a headphone-based system, making these speakers available. They are awesome; combining power, delicacy and visceral impact.

This sale also includes two pairs of Iso Acoustics ISO-L8R200 isolating stands (one pair of stands per speaker). These stands lift the speaker off the surface and provide exceptional isolation.

Shipping is $250 via insured UPS ground to any address in the lower 48. Shipping to any other U.S. address will be calculated separately. U.S. buyers only. I will pay PayPal’s fees. If you would like to eliminate the shipping cost and are in the Atlanta area, we can arrange to meet (payment required before setting up a meeting location). This shipment will consist of three boxes - 2 boxes for the speakers and 1 box for the Iso Acoustics stands. The SM-9’s will ship in their original Focal packaging, which consists of a heavy cardboard box, in which sits a sturdy foam insert, in which sits the speaker.
