Focal L and R Utopia Minor cosmetic issues so priced to sell!

Up for grabs is a pair of Focal L&R Utopia in the stunning Signature finish. The L&R Utopia is a large 90lb reference monitor with exactly the same high frequency array used in the $40,000 Nova Utopia Be and the $99,000 Grande Utopia Be paired with a side firing 10" woofer. In other words, they give you the best of the Utopia Be sound in a manageable package that can integrate equally well in both small and large rooms.

This is a one owner pair we sold originally and just took back on trade. They have a number of cosmetic issues that are all very minor and would touch up well enough that they would pass an inspection from a foot away with flying colors. There are a couple of chips in the paint on side of the baffle boards on one speaker, that same speaker has 2 small chips in the side panel finish and another has a smaller 1.5MM chip and a scuff. The top of one end cap has a small ding but no discoloration to the finish. One side grill has some light snags and one tweeter has a knick in the surround that IN NO WAY compromises performance or we would have replaced it. In the interest of full disclosure, one midrange has been replaced with a factory matched driver due to cosmetic issues, it was not blown and these have not been abused electrically. The pictures below are pretty representative but I have more pictures that I can email to serious buyers.

Sound Anchor makes a great stand to use with these with the correct height at 20".

They include the original factory packing but no manual and will be shipped on a pallet to arrive safely at a cost of around $300.

These are not for someone looking for a perfect pair of L&R but are for for someone looking for a great deal on a reference speaker that would otherwise be out of reach. The price should be pretty fair at almost 25% of the original retail.
