Arteluthe / TAD pro CADENZA. This is a brand new Arteluthe Cadenza complete with custom stands. With an efficiency of 96 dB @ 2.83 volts these are at ease with low power amps AND high power solid state amplifiers. Exquisitely built with walnut and amboina burl.
Low frequency driver is the famous TAD TL1601a while high frequencies are handled by TAD Beryllium TD2001 compression driver loaded by a custom Arteluthe diffraction horn.
The mid-low frequency enclosure loads a TAD TL1601a and is slightly overdamped and tuned to 36 Hz for an in-room low reach in the mid 20 Hz.
Arteluthe Cadenza is custom designed and custom built. No two pairs are exactly alike. Veneer is hand selected, bookmatched and pair matched on all sides as should be.
Crossover is a fourth order network centered at 1000 Hz.
Since CADENZA is a system, different horn profiles and different low drivers are offered, such as TAD TL1601A and TL1601B AlNiCo drivers or TL1603 ferrite.
