Selling my reference system.  I bought this new.  I have run it directly into an Ayre V-5xe with XLR cables.  The Transporter has a volume control and remote control so no pre-amp is necessary.  If you want the purest sound by-pass the preamp altogether.   Install the server software on your computer or on a NAS like I did.  I have a Synology NAS and it works great for this.  Logitech/Slim Devices are still performing regular updates to the software.  You can save your music collection in lossless format (flac for example) and it reads and catalogs everything.  Also you can add almost any radio station or Sirius.  I do all of the above.
It sounds fantastic.  It’s rare to see these for sale anymore.  Audiogon blue book shows average private party price of $1301.  Make me an offer.  This one is perfect and you wouldn't be able to tell it’s not brand new.  It’s had been moved only once from downstairs to an upstairs dedicated listening room.  My feedback is perfect on Audiogon and on Ebay (brown200 on ebay).  All original packaging, cords, antennas, and paperwork included.
