This is an UNBELIEVEABLE sounding DAC that I have used for the past almost year. I have side-by-sided it next to the un-modded unit (also for sale) and the differences are STUNNING! The bass that my Rel sub puts out with this DAC is simply unparalleled, the mids and highs are some of the smoothest imaginable. Paired with a Silver PS-audio (I’ve experimented) (Premier series) makes it sound even better!
Upgraded by Mr. Schulte of the upgrade company (see internal mods) including specialized insulating and RFI/EMF insulation, etc. I have opened this unit for pictures, also note that I removed the "sticker" from the side of the unit that says don’t remove or else void warranty because (1) it was ugly and I displayed this unit, and (2) the warranty is up anyway.
Sold as is, works AMAZING! Guaranteed not DOA (see my lifelong feedback). Steller condition - a few little mars on the finish and a few of the screws aren’t finished perfectly, but truly in almost brand-new condition!
Questions welcome!

Shipping is paid by you (I will absorb all Paypal and Audiogon fees), shipping will be ~$20-25 depending on where you live, FedEx insured. I have lowered the price to a UNDER-MARKET VALUE price, I will no longer accept best offers. It appears that no matter what price I list, Audiogoners expect a $100-200 discount. So, here are the facts. This is a MSRP $1,000 DAC with ~$600-800 in modifications. So, I'll ask $799 and we can go back and forth on the price, and agree on $449, I will simply not go any lower, and I'm sure at this price it will sell (without mods I'd sell for $300), this DAC sounds like in the $3,000 range in my opinion. It's so much better than stock! Thank you for your consideration.
Questions for the seller |

Wow, seems an amazing DAC you have here... From this, I'd be even more interested in what you're replacing it with - What would tha be? I've decided to change my setup and use my dedicated XLR inputs for an analog source. I will be upgrading this DAC to a turntable (changing my system a bit), still like digital, but it's fine through HDMI, analog is better served for my XLR inputs. Thank you for your inquiry (yes, the DAC sounds awesome) |
