The Fikus DAC is a radical departure from the other DACs offered in our lineup. It is a truly minimalist design featuring a vintage R2R DAC chip and very high end modern receiver. Although this DAC is only capable of reproducing redbook (all frequencies accepted however) most listeners believe high res to sound superior played back at 16/44 then even 24/192 on our Level 5! This DAC is available with or without exposed tubes.

For music analog section we will use triodes of our choice but we are open to suggestions / preferences. We normally source the best tubes in the world like VT99, 6SN7GT, 6H8C, ECC82, ECC88, P88CC, E182CC, ECC40 etc. They all are equally good and our choice depends on availability.
