This is one of the better reviewed and rated DAC in the 1-2k price point . I have owned it for about 4 years and have compared it to several others with the outcome always being the Benchmark is cleaner more detailed with a very nice recessed stage and without much harshness in lesser DACs. I dont use any HiRez files so I cant say this is the cats meow......... What I can say is, read the reviews and you see why the Benchmark DAC has such a following. . Feel free to ask Questions. New Lower price does not include shipping or Paypal fees (3%). Rated 8 only do to age . I noticed no cosmetic damage other then the wear on the labels edges. Prefer to hand deliver if you are within a 75 mile radius of Linden NJ (NYC -Philly areas)
