Benchmark Media Systems DAC1 Pre Silver

Hi and thanks for looking! This ad is for a Benchmark DAC1 Pre in Silver in Very Good condition. I'm finally ready to let go of my beloved DAC1 Pre, this is really a fantastic DAC. Stuffed with features, the DAC1 Pre's feature set reads like a most-wanted list: fully balanced design with both RCA and XLR outputs, USB input with Benchmark's proprietary anti-jitter circuit, built-in powerful headphone amp with dual 1/4" outputs, an analog RCA input, volume control, selectable output and compact size. There's gobs more information about the DAC1 Pre on Benchmark's website, but all of these features would be irrelevant if the DAC1 Pre didn't sound great, luckily it does! The DAC1 Pre has a fast, clear, dynamic sound that reveals all the detail in every recording. Whether used as a DAC, an analog preamp or even just as a headphone amp, the DAC1 Pre digs deep into every recording for a closer glimpse of the recorded event.

The 8/10 rating is because the box had something blue spilled on its rear corner (probably windex) when it was in storage. Other than some discoloration and a bit of swelling on the one corner, the box is intact. Fortunately, the unit wasn't in the box at the time, so the DAC1 Pre was untouched and all the packaging material appears undamaged as well.

DAC1 Pre is complete with all original accessories, which includes stock power cord, USB B-bus cable, 2x extra fuses, owners manual, blank warranty card. For maximum protection, the DAC1 Pre will be carefully shipped double boxed. Unit is multi-voltage, selectable on the rear panel.
