Benchmark Media Systems DAC1 (Original version, No USB)

Price revised. I am offering a Benchmark DAC1 for sale. This is the original version, without USB. Black, without rack mounting ears.

This is an excellent reference DAC and headphone amplifier combo, from a brand with a stellar reputation. A few years old, but can still hold its own, in sound and specifications. Made in the US.

The unit is in very good condition and 100% functionnal. No dents, scratches or marks worth mentionning, I am rating this a 6 for a few reasons:
- Some faded lettering and wear on the faceplate;
- Age is unknown;
- A minor repair was done on this unit: I replaced the Toslink (optical) digital input receiver (mechanical failure, the little flap and tension spring were broken and the cable did not stay in place).

I bought this DAC second hand on CAM, the listed flaws were already present at the time of the purchase.

The outputs are calibrated to 0.6V RMS. I have access to a true RMS meter, let me know if you want me to change this.
