The CD5 XS has a 2014 build date and is in excellent condition.
I am forced to downsize my Naim system for personal reasons so I've obtained a Naim Uniti 2 all-in-one Integrated Network Player. Since the Uniti 2 includes a built-in CD player, I will let my CD5 XS go.
Naim are well known for their superb CD Players and the CD5 XS is among the most recent of them. Despite it's relatively low cost (for Naim) the CD5 XS is surprisingly good. I've connected it to my NDX Network Player using the digital output and into my Supernait 2 Integrated Amplifier using the analog output. In ether case, the results match any other source in my system.
The swing-out swivel drawer is very convenient to use and the remote is the same as used with Naim's Integrated Amplifiers. The CD5 XS will not disappoint and can be upgraded with an external power supply to enhance it's analog output.
