TV is required to access comprehensive audio/video functions of player even is small track indicator display was working.
Otherwise unit looks new and is a first rate SACD/CD/DVD player and has resided in my $140,000 Reference System. I have moved to an all computer based digital playback system centered around the Berkeley Audio Alpha DAC Series 2 and USB Alpha.
