Muse Electronics Erato mkII CD/DVD player with onboard Analog Preamp

Custom Muse Electronics Erato II player in black (probably the only one in existence), this is the top of the line player when it comes to sound. Has all the extras - built in volume control so you can connect it directly to the power amps or use the fixed output, fully balanced both in variable and fixed output, two remotes, manual and original shipping boxes. I am the second owner but I never got the chance to take it out of the box so it is the condition it was sent to me.

Kevin Halverson at Muse does not spend money or fancy boxes and polished gold nor advertising in magazines but on real R&D - the Erato is based on the last R2R chip - the PCM1704 which are hand selected and trimmed, he uses his own version of I/V conversion with a passive stage plus instrumentation amplifier, the PSU is very sophisticated using all Tamura transformers.

The variable output uses the MUSE Model 3 Signature Preamp module inside minus the input switches so you actually get a magnificent CD/DVD player plus a very well regarded preamplifier in one. It is a 110V US unit but can be switched to 220V easily as the PSU was designed with a switch so it can be used Europe or rest of the world as well.
