Up for sale is my Modwright Sony SCD-XA5400ES. Most of you will know how highly regarded this player is; there are plenty of accolades in audio media and user forums where it is compared to the top high end digital players and even vinyl playback. It really does sound as good as all the reviews say it does; I am selling only because I am switching to a Modwright Oppo 105 to play blue-ray audio & Hi-rez playback.
I bought this unit brand new 2.5 years ago from Sony USA and had it sent direct to Modwright for their Ultimate Truth modifications. It is in mint condition. My player has the optional ($250) Truth umbilical cable and will come with stock Sovtek 6SN7 output and 5AR4 rectifier tubes in the power supply. Includes all original boxes & packing, remote control and manuals. Shipping to the US is a fixed $200.00. Payment preferred by bank draft or cheque, or by PayPal (buyer to pay Paypal fees).
Forgot to mention, this unit is a US spec. 110v mains voltage model.
