Top loading cd player and preamp with tube (6H-30) output. Both balanced and single ended inputs and outputs. Highly rated in several professional reviews as a very analog sounding player. The preamp section is also first rate. Purchased new from USA Tube in Arizona (the Ayon US importer) in February of this year. Original receipt included with purchase. Only used in a smoke free and pet free environment. Rated a very conservative "9". Comes with owners manual and remote and original triple box packaging. Estimated usage is in the 350 hour range so it is nicely broken in. I have had zero operating problems with this unit since first installing it into my system.

I almost bought a demo cd-05 from him about 6 months ago for $2500 that was listed on Audiogon for almost 6 months but in the end I chose not to.
Would you consider an offer of $3000 including shipping with paypal in total to Los Angeles area in CA ?
These Ayon cd players are difficult to sell, a friend of mine bought the newest current version of CD-07s for $5100 and can not still get rid of it for $1750 his is barely used.
The cd-05s is no longer made was discontinued few months ago.

Yes, I have been surprised at how slow the sale of the CD5s has been. I don't know about Paul and Ch 1. My receipt is from the USA Tube Audio, The Harwil Group. Maybe they are one and the same. To get back to your central question: I would do $3500 paid by Paypal to include insured shipping 3 day fedex air to you in LA if you can do the transaction by 2:30 pm today your timezone so that I can drive the shipment to the central Fedex terminal and get it off to you today (about 45 miles away and a 5pm Fedex deadline). I will be traveling for a few days beginning tomorrow. The CD5s should be delivered by Tuesday even with 3 day shipping. Let me know, Charles |
