I have been the proud owner of this Rosewood Signature Platinum cartridge for a little over a year. I put no more than about 30hrs on it. Then I nicked the diamond while I was adjusting my Kuzma arm and it needed a rebuild. So I turned to the best in the business, Soundsmith, and had Peter work his magic with his top-of-the-line Ruby Cantilver/Optimized Contour Nude Contact Line Diamond. I own another Koetsu of the same make and this exact rebuild brought to previously unimaginable heights. I have not played this cartridge since the rebuild but ONCE on one side of an album to ensure proper function. It is more than proper. It is sublime. It somehow manages to maintain all that is so organically beguiling about the Koetsu, and especially the platinum coils, and then add that Soundsmith magic sparkle and detail. Truly a wonder.

I am selling only because I have finally branched out from Koetsu and don't need two of these anymore. Buyer will be responsible for shipping and Paypal fees. I ship Fedex Ground, insured, signature required only. Rated 8/10 only for the rebuild only, otherwise is flawless shape. The sound is an 11. Comes with original box but no papers and no stylus guard so caution is necessary when opening and handling.
