Very powerful and with the sweetness and warmth of Luxman’s Class A designs, the P-1u is perhaps the most delicious sounding headphone amp we’ve ever heard. Luxman’s emphasis is on reproducing natural music, with lots of warmth, detail.  Easy to listen to and gloriously built, Luxman’s engineers are fanatical in their attention to detail; although much time is spent analyzing how components perform on test equipment, the final arbiter for every Luxman piece is listening evaluations. The P-1u has two inputs, one RCA and one XLR, selectable from the front panel.  Between the XLR inputs is a phase-invert button, which allows the use of AES/EBU pieces with this Japanese XLR standard device.

For optimal results, Luxman highly recommends leaving the P-1u on all the time.
