Topaz Ultra isolation transformer 5kva Line conditioner Power Treatment

This is a Topaz 5 kva Ultra isolation transformer with built in soft start. Any isolation transformer above 3kva is likely to trip the house breaker when it is first turned on. This surge is only on start up after which the transformer draws almost no current and they are designed to be left on. This transformer is equipped with a soft start circuit so it automatically starts at 1/2 level then in one-quarter second comes up to full power avoiding tripping the house breakers. The worse your house power is the more likely these types of isolation transformers are to hum a little. If your power is really bad with lots of DC offset and the hum is excessive then the unit can be placed in another room or the basement.

It is 5 kva so big enough for many amplifiers. It has a built in electrostatic shield between the primary and secondary so it is an "Ultra Class" isolation transformer providing extremely high isolation well over 100 db. There are dual secondary windings that are identical so they can be separated at 2.5 kva each or joined together to make a 5 kva output by simply flipping the switch on the outlet box. It also has dual primaries so it can be alternately wired to accept 240 volt input. I can provide a manual showing the various ways it can be connected. When the switch is in the position that separates the secondaries one outlet can be used for digital and the other for analog front end equipment. when the switch joins the secondaries it is big enough to run most amps. This unit is almost 100 lbs. It comes in a sturdy wooden shipping box.

It worked excellent for our manufacturer's testing. They can be paralleled to make a 10 kva or 15 kva or 20 kva transformer bank. We have 3 more of these for sale. Dimensions are approximately20" X 8" X 7"
