Towards the end of production of the Bybee Purifiers it was determined that bridging the circuits so only the analog power cord was plugged directly into the wall socket resulted in a better sounding device for most audiophiles who do not have dedicated circuits.  A short 12" power cord was plugged into one of the analog output sockets and then into the digital IEC input.  This results in one bank marked analog having 3 levels of Quantum filtering with the digital outputs having SIX levels of purification.  This concept was ultimately refined by internally bridged wiring that further improved the sound while not wasting one of the 4 analog output circuits.

The following description from the user manual (p4)
describes the "bridged" use via the short 12" power cord jumper:

Installation without Dedicated AC Circuits

Some systems will not have dedicated lines available. For these
systems it is possible to effectively utilize the separate circuits in a
series configuration which will effectively double the number of
Quantum Mechanical Filter modules being employed in the four digital
outlets.

The drawing below illustrates the proper methods for connecting the
circuits to employ both Quantum Mechanical Filter modules in series.

Plug the wall cord into the ANALOG IEC input socket. Utilize the
second power cord furnished with the Purifier as a jumper by plugging
the cord into an analog outlet socket and inserting the IEC end into the
IEC input socket of the digital section. The “digital section” of the
Signature Model will have the effect of double filtration while the Pro
Model will have six levels of filtration. The remaining three “Analog”
outlets are still available and are both filtered and isolated from the
“Digital” section by either one or three Quantum Mechanical Filter
elements. So while not optimally isolated by isolated circuits the two
circuits are nevertheless substantially separated from cross
contamination.

The two circuits should be viewed as “CIRCUIT 1” and “CIRCUIT 2”.
CIRCUIT 1 is triple filtered while CIRCUIT 2 is six times filtered.
Normally the preamp and phono stage will benefit the most from the
double filtering of CIRCUIT 2 with the turntable, digital transport and
DAC connected to the CIRCUIT 1. Experimentation with your components
should be done to determine the optimum configuration. While we are
used to thinking of circuit separation in terms of digital vs analog it
is not so simple. The worst emitters of grunge and hash back into the
AC line are components with an electrical motor; Digital transports,
turntable motors, tape decks, VCRs etc. These components should be
isolated on their own circuit, or by connecting all to CIRCUIT 1 of a
bridged Purifier. Even further isolation can be obtained by the use of a
Bybee Quantum Charger at the end of the AC cord. The Quantum Charger
will not only filter the AC power into the component it will filter out
much of the contamination being generated by that device.

Included is 1 new Harmonic Technology Pro-AC11 power cord as originally supplied.

This will be double boxed in the original packing boxes and includes a BYBEE User Manual.
