Sablon Audio Corona Reserva First Review now out!

After 5 years of ongoing development, I eventually ran out of road to improve the existing Gran Corona design and needed to go back to the drawing board for a fresh start. The result is the Corona Reserva, Sablon Audio's new top model power cord.

Keeping the existing superlative modified Oyaide 004 plug set, a higher grade of wire has now been sourced which is hand-built from individual conductors into a new geometry. This new model is now dramatically lighter and more flexible than Gran Corona and finished in a sleek bronze outer cover. Preconditioned before despatch on a Sablon enhanced Audio Dharma high power cable cooker with 'Ground Breaker' harnesses.

Sonically, the noisefloor has dropped even further giving greater detail and dynamic range. The presentation is cleaner and more even across the frequency range to better complement the new Reserva signal cables. Overall performance is significantly improved over Gran Corona and propelled the PCM replay of my demo Lampizator Golden Gate dac beyond DSD - something to bear in mind if you don't have the processing power of a CAPs type server.

Demo boxes of the Reserva line are now available in USA and I am offering preferential upgrade terms to existing Sablon customers in lieu of a trade in scheme.
