Up for sale is an MIT Z Cord II in the 2 meter length. This one is in excellent shape, pretty much like new in the retail “pizza” box.
This cord has the large oblong RF filters on both ends. The cord, as many users have noted, seems to get the noise floor down nicely in most amp and preamp sections. It adds just a little black to the silent stretches. I’d say the cord is a good general power line enhancer, in and of itself.
The Z-Cord II also incorporates a wide-bandwidth filter, and with that can also be very effective at removing high-frequency nasties injected by digital components. Very robust heavy-duty construction. It’s beefy, heavy, and solid from end to end.
This cord has rarely been out of the box, and probably isn't even be broken in yet.
