$900 Synergistic Research 5’ Element Tungsten Actively Shielded AC Power Cord with 2014 UEF Tuning Circuits and MPC

This Power Cord is in perfect condition and was previously owned by a dear friend. He’s a busy CEO and doesn’t feel he can sell things online himself. So, I am doing this for him in my off time as a learning experience. As a retired woman, this is an experiment which I am finding to be quite interesting. I sincerely enjoy listening to music in my friend’s room, but I don’t know the finer points of his equipment. However, what I do know is that he really cares for his equipment and guarantees that this is in perfect working condition. He told me I should say that this includes all the items that originally came with it (except for the tuning circuits which I will discuss below), is from a non-smoking and pet free household. Also, he’s the original owner and bought it from an authorized dealer.

As I was preparing to list this, I did a little market research and noticed that similar cords being sold have smooth tuning circuits while his cords have grooved tuning circuits, so I asked my friend about this and he told me that these grooved ones are the UEF Tuning Circuits and that they cost $150 a pair. He said that 2014 and later Element cords such as the new one for sale in a separate listing all come with the UEF Tuning Circuits. His 2013 Element cables came with the old, smooth ones that seem to be in the other listings. After he tested the new UEF Circuits on a couple of his power cords, he decided to upgrade all of his cables with them and says he loves the differences they make.
So the cable for sale here is a 2013 cable but it’s been upgraded to the 2014 specifications by changing these little circuits out and is now identical to a 2014 cord.
