KOETSU BLUE LACE PLATINUM MC CARTRIDGE

The top of the range Koetsu Blue Lace Platinum MC Cartridge are becoming hard to find as Koetsu has just closed its doors in Japan, so they are very rare now and soon will become collectors items, so I would suggest you consider this one now before they go up in price.

I bought this top of the range  Koetsu Blue Lace Platinum MC Cartridge brand new from Melvin Ang who is the Koetsu dealer for South East Asia in Singapore in August 2021.

It has been mounted on my TW Acustic Raven one turntable with a Raven 10.5 tonearm and I use an A23 Hommage T1 SUT and it sounds divine through my Shindo and Devore Gear.

All my records have been cleaned with a Degritter Ultrasonic cleaner so the Koetsu BLP diamond is in top shape.

I have not used it that much so around 200 hours on it as I also use a digital front end.

PLEASE NOTE : I WOULD CONSIDER SWAPPING THIS FOR A 230 VOLT HI END CD TRANSPORT UNIT.

Koetsu comment:
The pinnacle of cartridge design can be found in a Koetsu stone body. The body is machined from a block of high quality stone. Each block is carefully selected for natural grain and polished to a very fine finish. 

Internally, only the most tightly matched silver sheathed copper coils and cores are used. Rare platinum magnets allow the stone body cartridges to fully create the ethereal sound on which Koetsu has earned its reputation.
