This is the original model, not the MKll. In near mint condition which I would have given it a 9/10, but rated it at a 8/10 because of age (purchased in 2001). For those that it matters, it is a Stereophile Recommended component, reviewed by Michael Fremer in same magazine in April of 2002. It is a hybrid design amp that uses a bipolar transistor input stage with tube driver output stages.
Rated at 100 watt per channel amp and takes 4 KT-88's or 6550 (two per channel) with 6BQ7 output tubes (1 per channel). It is a (important) "balanced amp only" with 1/2" brass hex output posts (spades or bare wire) at 1,2,4,&8 ohms.
Any further detailed statistical information you wish to know can be found on the Music Reference web site.
This units ships at 57lbs. in the original shipping box, so buyer pays shipping. If paying through PayPal please include their percentage.
I will include 2 pair of RAM KT-88 which came with the unit and 2 pair of Gold Lion KT-88 (I prefer) or a set of Sovtek KT-88. Your choice of 2 sets. These tubes are used but are good for many more hours of listening.
