The title pretty much says it all, but note one more thing : This amp is also a SUPER RARE 3 channel version making this Hot Rod the absolute top of the line of its kind. I know what you're thinking. You only need 2 channels. Well, this amp can be used as just a 2 channel amp. When used as such you'll have even more power reserves due to the 3rd channel sitting idle.
In terms of sound quality, it is very neutral with just a slight bit of warmth and no glare. Compared to other amps of similar power and caliber I've owned (McCormack DNA .5 Deluxe and Bryston 3B-ST) I'd describe the Belles as Class A like ; The McCormack as warmer and somewhat tube like tonally ; And the Bryston as crisp, controlled, make no mistake Class A/B solid state muscle. These are just my observations in my system. Hope this helps. If you have questions about system synergy or compatibility, please contact me. I'd like this amp to go to the right buyer and for that buyer to be happy with their carefully made decision, hence the reason I did not include a Buy It Now option.
Just an awesome amp. You'll likely never run across another one of these, especially with a silver face. It is an easy 8/10 condition. Looks and sounds excellent. Only selling because I have too much gear and not enough room.
Had a check-up late last year by David Belles, which was $300. He didn't itemize the receipt, though, so I can't tell you exactly what was done. It's an older piece so I think it is reasonable to believe he replaced a few capacitors and gave it a clean bill of health. If anyone here has dealt with David, you know he's old school and if he says he performed $300 worth of work, then he did. I'll include the receipt with the sale of the amp.
So, I think you likely see the bargain here by now. A 2 channel Hot Rod (without recent service) can easily sell for $550-$600. With my amp, you get a 3rd channel which gives you more flexibility and power reserves AND it has been recently serviced. The service alone makes this amp a major bargain.
Ships to US lower 48 for a flat rate of $55. If shipping is less I'll refund the difference. If shipping is more I'll take care of it.
