SHIPS FROM LONG ISLAND, NY! Estate of Harry Pearson, for many years the Editor in Chief of The Absolute Sound magazine, would like to announce the public auctioning of items owned by Harry Pearson. As per his wishes, a great bulk of his “audio” estate is to be auctioned so that his readers and lovers of audio around the world can enjoy the items that he cherished so much. All items come from his home and listening rooms in Sea Cliff, NY. The auctions will include High End audio equipment owned and used by Harry Pearson throughout the years, his personal collection of The Absolute Sound issues (including many early editions), rare vinyl test pressings, reel-to-reel tapes, CDs, SACDs, and more. A signed and numbered “Letter of Authenticity” from the Harry Pearson Estate will accompany each item sold. ***HP's records, CD’s reel to reel tapes and other collectibles can be found on the eBay shop/seller : Postitos*** These Maggie 20.1 speakers were owned and used by HP for years as the cornerstone of his multi-channel visual media/listening room. There is something musically and spatially magical about these speakers. They are finished in natural oak with off-white cloth covers. | Does it come with the crossovers? I don't see them in the pictures Excellent question. I missed that when I was sent the information for he ad. I will check and make sure they come with the speakers. They really have to, as the speakers were in use right up to the point of HP's passing... Scot |
| Will you be shipping the ribbon tweeters separately as per Magnepan's specifications to protect them? I assume so. I will pass the message along to the owner. The original packing does come with the separate packing for the tweeter after it is removed. |
| What is the status of the crossovers? Any why are they being shipped from LA instead of NY? crossovers are included just not in photos. Ribbons are removed and packed correctly. The speakers are in New York, my mistake on the ad. |
