ARTIST: DEE CLARK (1938-1990, legendary R&B-soul singer from the 50's-60's era)

TITLE: THE DELECTABLE SOUND OF

LABEL: Charly Records, catalog no. CRB 1113, MONO, made in ENGLAND. Plain paper inner sleeve.

YEAR: 1986. Original pressing.

CONDITION:

- front cover is close to NM (having: some light shelf wear in its upper area; both right corners a little touched / pushed)

- back cover is close to NM

- vinyl is NM both sides - possibly MINT (visual grading)

COMMENTS:

Featuring Dee Clark (vocals) with band accompaniment and two vocal groups added on a few tracks (The Kool Gents and The Dells).

16 tracks, compilation type album featuring lesser known songs recorded by Dee Clark in the 50's and 60's. Includes four previously unissued tracks. Superb early R&B-soul music throughout fused with occasional blues moves. First or second copy I've ever seen. Highly recommended!
