Cary Audio SE-811

For sale is a pair (2) Audi Electronic (Cary Adio Desins) SE-811 Single Ended Triode Mono amplifiers. From what I’ve been able to find, the amps are rated at 12 watts, Class A.

I am selling these for the widow of a friend that passed.

The amps are in great shape cosmetic shape. The only flaw is the illumination light behind the front panel display on one amp is out.

I played the amps on/off over a two-week period, with the longest listening period being about six hours. They sound fantastic.

In addition to tubes that were in the amps, this auction includes three (3) additional matched pair of 811-3 output tubes. These tunes are unused, brand new still in the packing they were shipped in. The invoices found with the tubes show that they were purchased at $188.00/matched pair. That is over $500.00 in new output tubes.

In addition are some other tunes that were found with the system are included. Unfortunately the condition of these tubes is unknow.

Front panel of amps has a volume control and an on/off power switch. Reat panel has speaker impedance switch, speaker binding posts, two fues, audio input and bias adjustment screw.

I do not have the original boxes or literature but the units have been packed more than ample to be shipped.

Shipping will be determined by the shipping destination. There are three boxes to be shipped. Each amp is packed in separate boxes ( 24” x 16” x 18”, 45lbs each), and the box with the extra tubes is 23” x 17” x 13” and weights 13lbs.
