Arcam FMJ P777

I am selling my Arcam FMJ P777 multi channel amplifier. This amp is rated at 150 watts per channel driving an 8 ohm load, and 230 w/p/c driving a 4 ohm load, to each of its 7 built in channels. There are RCA and XLR inputs on this amp, and it comes with the original box, foam packaging, manual and 20 AMP power cord. This amp is a beast, I had it powering a B&W 7 channel surround sound system where the front 3 speakers were from the 800 series, and the side/rears were from the 700 CI series. This amp does great for home theater or 2 channel playback, it rivals the performance of much higher end equipment.

There are some scratches on the amp, and I have tried to show them in the pictures. At one point there was another piece of equipment that sat on top of this amp, so you can see a faint outline of the round feet. This amp was cared for very well over the years.

The Two oversize toroid power transformers feed the seven power amplifier channels with separate secondary windings for each channel. The center channel, often the most important as it carries dialogue information, is fed from both transformers for maximum performance. “Soft Start” circuit is deployed to reduce inrush load on the incoming mains supply at switch-on with the toroid standby transformer and control circuits kept in their own aluminum enclosure for additional screening.
