This is a steller Audio Research PH7 Tube Phone Preamp, I personally think this is a much better sounding preamp than the PH8. This has all the latest updates includding the power supply. The tube power supply is from the reference 3 preamp and the tube output is pure Audio Research bliss. This particular unit was owned by Wilson Audio and then sent to Audio Research to be retubed and tuned and sent to me directly. It now has 152 hours on a fully fresh set of tubes. There are some small marks on the top of the unit that may come out before I ship it. I love this preamp but I cannot use it with my current scaled down system and I need to sell it unfortunately. It is wonderful sounding, it sounds identical to the Reference 2 phono preamp to me side by side and I'm very picky.
