Metal Base El34 Mid 50's rare & amazing dutch hot glass

Here are some really great sounding, very rare, Metal Base EL34's from mid 50's Holland.

Truly one of the best of the best of all EL34's ever made.

And while you may find 1 or 2 of these here and there online, you will never find 12 all together in one lot, and all in excellent condition. 
 Not pure NOS as I don't have original boxes. Those decayed years ago. But very very low hours, about 50 or 60 hours, on these tubes and they are quite strong. If you have EL34 based gear and like the very best of the best, this ad is for you!

OK, details. if you google these tubes you will find there are very very few of them for sale anywhere on the market. It took me several years of hunting and buying almost weekly to acquire this collection.

1) 12 each: EL34 HOLLAND METAL BASE 1955-1958: This is the original EL34. This is one of the rarest and most highly sought after EL34s. The brown micanol base has a nickel plated metal sheath around it. The entire base is not actually metal. The plates are welded with two horizontal slits in the center of the plate. There is a large mica spacer at the very top which hides the getter rings. There are 2 screen grid cooling fins with overall very heavy duty construction throughout.

(many consider the best sounding EL34 of all-time are the metal base EL34 made in Holland 1955-1958).

If you go to sites like "tubeworld" (com) (you can google it, as no links are allowed in these ads on audiogon), you will see these going for $600-$1000 ++ per tube!

I have 12 of them. All matched. All very very strong. all with very few hours on them. (about 50-60 hours total). 
Pricing them in the lower middle of the range of prices listed above it would be $500 per tube, which equals $6000 for all 12 of them. 
I am offering this set of EL34's for 5500.    This is a GREAT DEAL! 
 I realize that for some, these are pricey tubes.  
 However, considering the sound, the rarity, and pricing of others online on other sites, this is a very fair price.  Especially this many all together!! NEVER EVER comes available.  If you have great EL34 based tube gear, you should grab these.  They truly do have the best of the best sound.  I have owned all the best types of EL34's (EL60's, Brown Base EL34's, XF2's, OO-Getters, Metal Base from the 50's, Telefunkens from the 50's) and these are my favorites.   
My price is quite reasonable. But admittedly, these are not for everyone. Only for the connoisseur who demands the very best for their system.
