This set of cables was a dealer demo set used on both tube and solid state high end products. This was my statement interconnect between an Electrocompaniet EMC-1 and $10,000+ preamps. I thoroughly broke all demo cables in before using them to show what a system could do. In fact because the signal between the CD player and preamp is so delicate I used them for a few weeks between the preamp and amp so they would be exposed to a stronger signal, break in does make a difference! These are the best interconnects you are going to get for this money...PERIOD. As I recall the price of this was around $1400.
I have not been a dealer for several years, but I will be publishing a book on system synergy. I took comparison work very seriously and tried every combination of entry to high end equipment extremely seriously. I had most every name brand cable to try from their entry lines to their statement products, and had the opportunity to try each upgrade in order so as to see where the best bang for the buck could be had in any given system level. Upgrading a system starts with cable and you aren't ready to go to equipment upgrades until you are at the peak of wire for the money, this compares to products costing thousands more,
