Rather than the six analog cables required by most multichannel music players, this player lets you send DVD-Audio, SACD, and CD signals to a compatible component via its Denon Link output. It can also pass DVD-Audio or SACD signals digitally using either of two IEEE 1394 outputs, and DVD-Audio via HDMI. (Denon's state-of-the-art AVR-5805 receiver enables all three digital connection types.) These single-cable connections simplify hookup and ensure clean, noise-free signal transfer.
