Our Best Turntable Mat Yet!
Super light, incredibly effective and is recommended for any platter especially one piece platters - i.e.: solid aluminum, Delrin, Polycarbonate
The general rule for platter design is more than 2 materials to avoid inherent resonant frequencies of given materials. An example is an aluminum platter will ring; a polycarbonate platter will sound soft and less dynamic. This mat will give your turntable the sound of very high end rigs, and will make the big tables sound better than ever.

We have developed 10 different types of mats over the years, some were heavy copper and expensive, 303 stainless very heavy, copper and carbon fiber, and a lighter carbon fiber that was a great mat but hard to produce.
This is our latest development using lightweight super effective Carbon fibre and Kevlar fibre materials. The mat is .1875 (3/16 of an inch) or 4.78 mm thick by 11.5 inches diameter. The mat weight .800 Lbs / 360 grams suitable for any turntable with a spindle height of ¼ inch.
The bottom is .025 thick fine grade cork, very thin, the middle layer is 1/8 Carbon fiber and Kevlar composite. The top of the mat is a .025 thick carbon fiber layer with a thin epoxy coat for a beautiful mirror like finish.
The mat is actually thousands of layers of fibre, provided the most incredible energy management without losing dynamics and has a superbly smooth overall presentation. The mat has explosive dynamics and has a super low noise floor as the materials absorb the energy reflected back in to the record while the stylus is reading the groove with reduced playback distortion.
It is gorgeous, portable and will work on any turntable.
Special note on adjustments: Some tone arm raising of VTA (height) adjustment may be required
Recommended products: Center Weights and or Clamp and Outer Record Ring Clamps
We do recommend the use of a center weight with the mat for best record coupling and coupling to the mat.
