This auction for our brand new product - Dark Matter Optical Coating, a highly specialized scattered laser light absorber for CDs. This revolutionary product addresses the invisible infrared portion of the background scattered laser light. Price $99 per 3 oz bottle. Each bottle treats about 125 CDs. Starting bid $69.
The CD laser is in the near invisible spectrum with wavelength of 780 nm. Green pens and green mats can influence the sound because the CD laser is not monochromatic, and the color green absorbs the portion of the scattered laser light that is in the visible red region just below the near infrared region. But most of the scattered light is invisible. Dark Matter comes in a 3 oz spray bottle; the surface if the CD LABEL side is wetted with 4 pumps and allowed to dry for about 5 minutes.
The sound is much more open, deep, articulate, dynamic and natural with much less distortion.
