This amazing turntable features our new high mass dual belt flywheel – long twin belt - drive system. This has been developed and is being released as an option on all GEM and MOMENTUS turntables.
This supremely musical turntable is liquid smooth, hugely dynamic and the music jumps from the blackness and sparkles. This table is capable of clean and extremely powerful low frequencies extending well below the average turntable due to the cobalt bearing, platter and drive systems.
There is 12 LBS of pure brass – the center weight is coated for long life!
Brass Upgrades – TTSoundPoints and Bases Solid Brass – superbly quiet damping
New – DIDGI-Servo Controller – 18,000 pulses per platter revolution encoder count – super precise speed control.
New - High Torque DC Servo Drive Motor – 20 LB Pod – 4 Lb Motor – encoder based twin CPU controller with .001 rpm adjustments.
Includes DEMO Super Platter Upgrade 43 Lbs (46 with Center Weight) – cobalt bearing and carbide thrust ball System.
The platter decoupled from the bearing and drive system with 9 laminated layers effectively decoupling the carbon fibre record mat from the drive system.
Platter Materials – Aluminum, Delrin, Carbon Fiber and Acetyl layers that are mechanically decoupled, 9 layers, so quiet and so dynamic and so very musical.
Minor scuffs on carbon fibre record interface (built in Mat)
