Up for sale is a Thorens TD 160 Super that’s just been restored by Dave A., the owner of VinylNirvana.  The tonearm is included; the London Decca Maroon cartridge is not, but it’s available separately.
If you’re not familiar with Dave’s work, check out his VinylNirvana website, which shows you all that goes into a restoration done by him.  Basically, he disassembles the whole table, repairs or replaces everything that’s even slightly worn, and rebuilds it.  He also has the motor rebuilt and he cleans and oils the plinth.  This one has a new old stock Thorens matt and a new spindle.

This table comes with a Grace 707 tonearm that Dave went over, too, and it works perfectly, as does the table.  The tonearm needed two small mods - the original anti-skate weight and its set screw were missing, so I bought a custom-made replacement.  And the set screw for the headshell was missing, so Dave used one from an AR turntable that fits perfectly.
The TD160 Super is becoming fairly rare and, according to Dave, is the Thorens that he gets the most requests for.  It has more damping and is built more solidly than others from that Thorens era.  This one sounds perfect and is in perfect condition mechanically.  I just got it back from Dave about 3 months ago and have probably only put about 50 hours on it since then.  He has a 6-7 week backlog.
Cosmetically, this is an 8.  It would be higher but there’s a ding on the lower back left rear of the table that was there when I got it.  Dave didn’t try to fill it in, because it barely shows from the side, but it’s there - see the photos.  The original dustcover is included - the hinges are in perfect shape, but the cover has some haze that couldn’t be buffed out.

I was planning on keeping this table forever after it was restored, but things change and it’s for sale.
Buyer pays for shipping; I’ll cover PayPal fees if you go that route.
Lowball offers will be politely ignored.
