Here is a rare opportunity to purchase one astounding work of turntable art and one of the finest sounding esoteric turntables ever designed by audio maven Bob Benn of Sound Engineering.

This is a very heavy free-floating belt driven design which features an absolutely gorgeous and beautifully sculpted massive composite Cocobolo and rosewood platter with a precision brass subplatter, inverted bearing, spindle and DC motor with a variable speed control module (from 33 to 78 rpm!) and all battery operated (!) for best sound. It also rests on a heavy plinth made of Cocabolo. A heavy brass weight will be included along with 3 tonearm mounting pods. The arm boards are drilled for the round type of Linn but the SME type of board is also acceptable an can be adapted very easily. The third arm board was drilled for an MG-1 and/or ET-2 air bearing arm. Table and speed control function all great. There is superb neutrality with this amazing turntable and it is a true audiophile dream..

The battery is a 12-volt Panasonic LC-LA1233P rechargeable battery (and comes with the recharger) and it is good for 10 years. Sound quality is so pure and breathtaking that floats on air. You will be definitely be impressed. You will never go back to AC power again!

I prefer to have the turntable picked up (I live in Tampa, Florida) but am willing to ship and am willing to pack and box each component individually but this whole turntable will have to be specially crated due to the weight (of almost 200 lbs) and be shipped by Freight. The Grado Signature tonearms are not included and are not part of the sale however I will contemplate selling one of the arms to the buyer of the turntable if he or she so desires.

You will have to spend far more to obtain a turntable of this comparable statement quality and engineering I assure you.

If you do a google search you can see the write up in 6 moon at the Stereophile audio show. Check also High End Palace Stereophile Show for 2006

The above shipping price is just an estimate so I can post the ad in Audiogon and this is conservative. However, at my asking price I am willing to meet interested party within 50 mi. of Tampa, Florida.

You will not believe what analog reproduction can be like until you own this beauty. It will be your very last turntable. I am certainly sure. This may be your last chance to own an incredible sounding and highly esoteric statement turntable for a very reasonable asking price.

Paypal fee applicable although I will accept bank money order or personal check after clearance.
