Dual 701 Turntable better than Thorens ?

I am clearing out some old equipment. For sale is a Dual 701 Turntable. By most, the best turntable Dual made and by many, it is serious competition to the best Thorens turntables.

The Dual works well as a manual turntable and the strobe maintains speed. I can assure you that it plays as a manual turntable.

However, the auto return feature is not working properly. I ordered a little Steuerpimpel nylon grommet replacement on ebay to repair it (included), but I do not know how to install it or if it will get the job done if installed.

The Dual is missing the dust cover. Please see the photos.
