A BEAUTIFUL McIntosh MR-85 Tuner in MINT CONDITION. The pics don't do it justice because it is hard to photograph with it's glass faceplate.

Please read this ENTIRE AD before responding as I have tried to include most pertinent information.

I have only used this tuner for about 30 hours, so you are getting a tuner that is about as close to new as you can find. I don't know how you could distinguish it from new, except that I have taken it out of it's protective wrap.

It has EVERYTHING included:
* Remote
* Manual
* Power cord
* Original Box (one of the best boxes I have ever received for a component, beautifully designed to insure that it will arrive safely)

I have owned over 20 different tuners in my 40+ years in this hobby and this one is at the top of the list. Previous tuners were: McIntosh MR-78, McIntosh MR-80, Tandberg 3001A, Tandberg3001, Revox (3 different models), Accuphase 109, Kyocera, Mitsubishi DA-F10, DA-F20, naim 06, etc, etc.

I am only selling as I wanted to add a 3rd system that would be FM based with a super antenna, but it just did not materialize (and I think I was getting a little too crazy!!!)
