Takatsuki TA-300B uber rare alternative to Western Electric Sophia Royal

New, never used, boxed, latest edition, matched pair. One more pair left

Some think, and I certainly do, that this almost impossible to get Takatsuki TA-300B is the best in the world 300B tube. I found that compared to other top tubes Takatsuki is better in both resolution and fullness as well as bass and its articulation. I wouldn't go for any other tube, the effect was like a major upgrade of amplifier, which is already great.

Basically, if you want the performance of the best OLD Western Electric at sane prices and guaranteed reliability, there isn't much choice. AND it's several times cheaper than the OLD Westerns. AND cheaper than the top 300B tubes. Expensive? Yes. Value for money? Absolutely.

The one you'll get is a new in box, never used pair. It is the latest edition with black base (the previous had white base).

This is a unique tube and extremely difficult to get. Latest one was listed on agon for 2000 USED! + PP and shipping, and it was the previous white based model, not that it is worse. Reliability of these tubes is also among the very best, which is important at this price level.
