Sylvania 7044 5687 Triple Mica Tubes, Matched Pair

Hello – I have a matched pair of Sylvania 7044 5687 Triple Mica Tubes for sale. These were made for IBM by Sylvania.

The 7044 is part of the 5687 family of tubes and is a drop-in replacement for the 5687.

The 7044 is 0.5 inches taller than the 5687 so be sure your pre-amp can accomodate this extra height.

The Sylvania 7044's have most of the qualities of the Tung-Sol 5687, with the addition of a truly wonderful midrange with less graininess.

These have triple mica construction, gray plates and "D" getters. They have matching 1960 date codes.

These test as NOS tubes.

TV-7/B test results: 100/100 and 100/100. Minimum is 50.

All tubes are tested on my calibrated TV-7/B or on my calibrated Hickok 539C. All of these tubes have been tested for transconductance, shorts, gas, leakage and life. All tubes meet or exceed manufacturer published specifications of transconductance (Gm) for the specified tube type. All tests are tested twice – prior to the listing and prior to shipping.
