This tester is in excellent operating and cosmetic condition. I have owed many military tube testers, and you'd be hard pressed to find one that is better preserved. The outer case, test panel, knobs, switches, sockets and meter are all in superb condition.  It will test all the popular audio tubes and many others for shorts, mutual conductance, life, gas and noise. Some advantages of this tester over the popular TV-7 series of testers is that it reads directly in micromhos, has a built in roll chart and a built in multimeter capable of measuring ohms, volts, milliamperes, and capacitance. 

The tester comes with the original copy of the full instruction book, all of the adapters and test leads that originally came with tester and spare neon, pilot and fuse lamp bulbs. 

I worked for many years as a technician in the audio repair trade and have all the tools and test equipment necessary to properly check and calibrate this tester. I just performed a complete check of all voltages including plate voltage, screen voltage, bias voltage, signal voltage and filament voltage. After calibrating the plate voltage, all measured voltages conformed exactly to the factory specs set forth in the manual. This tester was designed and built to last forever and should provide many years of trouble free service.
