Beautiful pair of Made In USA Amperex 6922/E88CC White Label PQ vacuum tubes with gold pins.
Test like new and testing results indicate this pair is used very little if at all.
Platinum matched: all 4 sections are very tightly matched within less than 5%. Low noise.

This pair has the same date code - 7L9*6E, indicating both are made in May 1966. Even the sand blasted date codes at upper portion of the tubes are the same: 620 (20th week of 1966). Same painted letters (66-33) indicates they are packed on the same 33rd week of 1966. All lettering on both tubes are identical.
6922 tubes will have a longer lifespan than 6DJ8 tube. In some cases 6922 tubes will last 5,000 to 10,000 hours vs 3,000 to 4,000 hours for 6DJ8 tubes.

All tubes are tested by Hickok 539C vacuum tube tester. This tester was precision calibrated by Roger Kennedy to improve measurement accuracy. 83 and 5Y3 tubes were replaced by Solid State rectifiers to minimize calibration drift in the tester.
All tubes are installed into an actual audio circuit to screen them for internal tube noise/micorphonics.
