I have a Matched pair of NOS New In Box Philips/Amperex E188CC/7308 with gold pins. They are made in Heerlen, Holland with the same etched date code. They are exactly the same tubes as Philips SQ (Special Quality) E188CC tubes, and labeled as RCA (RCA never manufactured their own 6DJ8 type of tubes).
I have 2 pairs of these NOS new in box tubes available.
Test very strong on my precision calibrated Hickok 539C tester as NOS tubes should.
This pair is very quiet with no microphonics and suitable for usage in phono stage as well as line stage (tested in actual preamp).
All 4 sections are extremely tightly matched match within 5%!
Same Etched Date Code: ⊿4D3 (made in 3rd week of April, 1974).

All tubes are tested by Hickok 539C vacuum tube tester. This tester was precision calibrated by Roger Kennedy to improve measurement accuracy. 83 and 5Y3 tubes were replaced by Solid State rectifiers to minimize calibration drift in the tester.
All tubes are installed into an actual audio circuit to screen them for internal tube noise/micorphonics. Excessively noisy or/and microphonic tube issues would make them unsuitable for usage in a phono stage or in high-gain line stage preamps.
Music Reference RM-4 pre-preamp (moving coil head amp with 30 db gain) is used for "in circuit"/real world noise/microphonic testing.
